During May, members from our team were excited to make a four-day visit to our partners at Panguaneta Mill in Sabbioneta, Italy.
Our close and much valued relationship stretches back over many years and the natural synergy between the companies provides the perfect basis for us to work together in presenting some of the most technically and environmentally assured poplar plywood products for industry.
The trip began with a visit to the Torre d’Oglio plantation which is located about 20 minutes from the mill. This unique and beautiful forest area provides an interesting and impressive insight into poplar forestry management and the raw material sourcing process.
Following this, the team embarked on a comprehensive tour of the mill in order to enhance their appreciation and understanding of Panguaneta’s advanced production techniques and sustainable practices. The tour included a detailed overview of the mill’s advanced laboratory facility and the head technician explained the rigorous testing processes for panels, including strength, glue bond, formaldehyde emissions, and all other R&D procedures.
We are again truly grateful for the way our close friends at Panguaneta were our perfect hosts throughout the visit and we look forward to working with the updated knowledge and benefits the visit provides us with.
